A youth champion training, recognition, and closing program was conducted on July 10, 2024, at the Ethiopian Aviation University auditorium hall in the presence of Mr. Patrice Laquerre, charge’ d’affaires at the Embassy of Canada to Ethiopia, and Mr. Kassie Yimam, Ethiopian Aviation University president.
Ethiopian Airlines Foundation and CPAR have been working together on the successful implementation of the program following the MoU signed by Ethiopian Group CEO and the country director of CPAR in 2023.
The program is aimed at enabling the selected public-school students to play leadership roles in program activities, embracing diversity and empowerment through education and training. A total of 184 women, 91 men, and individuals with disabilities had joined forces to expand their knowledge and skills.
