Ethiopian Airlines Group marked the celebration of Eid al-Fitr with a humanitarian outreach program held on March 20 at Tesfa Birhan Feeding Center, Addis Ababa. The initiative reflects the airline’s broader commitment to community support, alongside its longstanding role as a key catalyst for socio-economic growth in Ethiopia and across Africa over the past eight decades.

As part of Ethiopian Airlines Group’s continued commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and humanitarian support, ET Foundation, in collaboration with Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, has coordinated the donation of 3,400 bundles of items worth ETB 4,961,600 to one charity organization, supporting beneficiaries across different regions of the country. The donation includes clothing, shoes, bags, and other essential items.

As part of Ethiopian Airlines Group’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment and humanitarian support, ET Foundation—together with Inflight Catering—has coordinated the donation of 127,245 used kitchenware items to nine local charity organizations.

In line with its philanthropic commitment to humanitarian assistance, Ethiopian Airlines Group, through ET Foundation, has donated different humanitarian items to Afar Region to support the displaced people due to natural disaster (hurricane).

The Addis Ababa City Administration Feeding Agency acknowledged Ethiopian Airlines for its sustained and impactful support to community feeding programs. The recognition highlights the airline’s vital role in significantly contributing for the agency’s feeding initiatives that aims to uplift vulnerable populations across the capital.

A Youth Champions Training closing and recognition program was conducted on July 29, 2025, at the Ethiopian Aviation University auditorium in the presence of government officials, Embassy of Canada officials, officials of CPAR (Canadian Physician for Aid and Relief), representatives from Ethiopian Airlines, and other invited guests.

Ethiopian Airlines Group celebrated Easter holiday by hosting a feeding program at the Tesfa Berhan Feeding Centre located in Bole Sub-City, Wereda 4, on April 20, 2025. The initiative provided meals to over 700 individuals in need, reinforcing the airline’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
